The Zip has been a consistant best seller for many years now, actually out selling every other powered two-wheeler during 2001 and 2002 to become the undisputed number one!
Piaggio have thoughtfully facelifted the 2008 model with a four stroke engine, colour coded handlebar cover and mudguard, new badges and new harder wearing body parts in dark grey.
Although our entry-level model, the stylish little Zip is fully equiped, boasting an adjustable dual seat, lockable glovebox and underseat helmet bay, cataytic converter, hydraulic disc brake and alloy wheels. The fuel economy is fantastic, with owners reporting well over 100mpg, almost unheard of with Automatic Scooters!
If the meek 50cc isn't enough, try the new 100cc version, which will hum along at 50+mph, yet cost less than most Mopeds!
Sweet performance and handling are just the icing on the cake, you will not find better value anywhere at this level of quality and competance.
RECOMMENDED FOR: Commuters on a budget, who don't want to compromise quality or functionality. Better in the town than dual carriageways, for commutes up to 5-8 miles each way
